Every animal experiences the world in its own way based on how it senses and interacts with the environment. We study how diverse species receive information from the world, from molecules to behavior. We approach these investigations using from a comparative neurobiological and neuroethological perspective.
We are inspired by the bewildering diversity found in nature and uncover basic mechanisms of how nervous systems function.
